iQOO Z11 Review: A Stylish All-Rounder With a Massive Battery

iQOO Z11 review covering its 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, 7,050mAh battery, cameras, design, AI features, price and overall verdict.

The iQOO Z11 arrives at a time when buyers expect more from a mid-range smartphone than just a fast processor. They want a good display, reliable cameras, long battery life, attractive design and enough performance to handle everyday work and gaming.

iQOO seems to understand that perfectly with the Z11. Instead of focusing on one headline feature, the company has built a well-rounded phone around a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor and massive 7,050mAh battery. The phone starts at ₹34,999 in India, putting it directly into a competitive segment.

After spending time with the phone, the Z11 comes across as a polished all-rounder rather than a device designed for one specific type of user.

Specifications based primarily on iQOO's official product information.

Design: Slim, Light and Surprisingly Premium

The iQOO Z11 does not look like a typical bulky big-battery smartphone.

Despite carrying a battery larger than 7,000mAh, the phone measures only 7.99mm thick and weighs 199 grams. The curved display and narrow frame also make the handset comfortable to hold.

iQOO has gone with two colours: Celestial Blue and Aurora Green. The rear camera module uses a horizontal aluminium design that gives the phone a distinctive appearance.

The design will not appeal to everyone, particularly if you prefer completely flat displays, but the Z11 certainly looks more expensive than its price suggests.

Display: One of Its Biggest Strengths

The 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display is arguably the Z11's biggest attraction.

The 2800 × 1260 resolution keeps text and images sharp, while the 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and animations feel fluid. iQOO also claims up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness, which helps when you use the phone outdoors.

Watching YouTube, Netflix or other video content feels particularly enjoyable because of the large panel. The stereo speakers add to the experience and give the Z11 a strong entertainment focus.

If you spend a lot of time watching content on your phone, this display alone makes the Z11 worth considering.

Performance: Smooth for Everyday Use

The phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo, built on a 4nm process. iQOO pairs the chip with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

For everyday tasks, the Z11 feels quick and responsive. Apps open without much hesitation, multitasking works well and social media does not put much pressure on the hardware.

Gaming performance is also dependable, although this is not the phone to buy if you want the highest possible frame rates in every competitive game. Independent testing places the Z11 among the capable performers in its price segment, while reviews describe its performance as reliable rather than class-leading.

The 3,800mm² vapour chamber cooling system also helps the phone manage heat during heavier workloads.

Cameras: Good in Daylight, Less Impressive at Night

iQOO gives the Z11 a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 32MP sensor handles selfies and video calls.

The main camera performs well in daylight. Photos generally offer good detail, pleasing colours and useful dynamic range. OIS also helps when you shoot handheld photos or record video.

However, the ultra-wide camera is less impressive. Low-light photography also remains an area where the Z11 falls behind some competitors. Independent reviews have praised the main camera while pointing out weaknesses in night photography and the secondary camera.

So, if camera performance is your number-one priority, you may find stronger alternatives. For everyday photography, though, the Z11 does a respectable job.

Battery Life: The Z11's Secret Weapon

The 7,050mAh battery is the feature that immediately separates the Z11 from many rivals.

With moderate usage, the phone can comfortably last beyond a full day. Heavy users should also have enough capacity to get through a demanding day without constantly searching for a charger.

The 44W FlashCharge system is not the fastest charging technology in this segment, but it balances charging speed with the phone's enormous battery capacity. iQOO also includes a charger in the box.

For travellers, students and people who spend long hours away from a power outlet, this battery capacity is a major advantage.

Software and AI Features

The Z11 runs OriginOS 6 and includes several AI-focused tools. iQOO highlights features such as AI Creation, AI Captions and AI Transcript Assist, which can help with writing, translation, transcription and summaries.

The software experience is feature-rich, although some users may find the pre-installed apps and additional software a little excessive. That remains one of the phone's minor drawbacks.

iQOO Z11: Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Excellent 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display
  • Huge 7,050mAh battery
  • Slim 199g design
  • Reliable everyday performance
  • Good primary camera with OIS
  • Strong stereo speakers
  • IP68/IP69 protection
  • Useful AI features

Cons

  • Ultra-wide camera is average
  • Low-light photography could be better
  • Some bloatware
  • Higher RAM variants become expensive
  • Not the best choice for extreme gaming

Independent reviewers have reached a similar conclusion, with 91Mobiles rating the phone 8.2/10 and describing it as a balanced mid-range package.

Verdict: Should You Buy the iQOO Z11?

The iQOO Z11 is not trying to dominate every category. Instead, it combines several good features into one attractive package.

The large 144Hz AMOLED display is excellent, the Dimensity 7500 Turbo delivers dependable performance, and the huge battery gives the phone an advantage that is difficult to ignore. The cameras are good enough for everyday photography, while the slim design prevents the massive battery from making the phone feel like a brick.

At ₹34,999, the Z11 faces serious competition, and buyers who prioritize gaming or camera quality may find better-specialized options. But if you want a phone that does almost everything well, the Z11 deserves a place on your shortlist.

Our Remarks: 8.5/10

The iQOO Z11 is a classic all-rounder: stylish enough to impress, powerful enough for everyday use and equipped with enough battery to keep you away from the charger for a long time. It may not be the best phone in every category, but very few things about the Z11 feel like a compromise.
